John is the founder and CEO of alternative asset manager Tanarra (A$3.5bn+ AUM). John has 35 years' experience in investment and finance in Australia, the US and UK. He studied Commerce at the University of Queensland, followed by a Master of Philosophy at Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar. He is the former Chair of Australian Sports Commission, Melbourne Cricket Ground Trust, and former President of the State Library of Victoria. John is also Trustee Emeritus of Oxford University's Rhodes Trust and Chair of the advisory board for Sport Australia's Hall of Fame.
